I have done a lot of research to find our first DVR. And the Moxi seemed the best choice. However there are reviews on the far opposite ends witch made me apprehensive to commit to this product. Still it appeared to be a great digital dvd for us that would allow us to watch tv more efficiently. The 30 day money back guaraty from Moxi made me pull the trigger. We already had a smart card from our cable provider (Comcast) that I pulled out off our tv, inserted in the Moxi. Connected the cables. and 30 minutes later we where up and running.
It took a few day's to figure out how everything works. But we are loving it!

This is a fantastic HDTV. I buy this brand because Sony has many years in the market, besides the prestige that all Sony Electronics have. Just look very good when comparing televisions at the stores, Sony has the most natural images, is neither very bright and not very dark, it's perfect! please buy a Sony will not be sorry.. WOW, I love this tv! I am a movie fan and generally broadcast tv doesn't hold my interest too long, but this set, coupled with cable hd channels certainly has changed that! I highly recommend this tv to anyone who is budget minded and still looking for a set size for a main room. The picture clarity and crispness is amazing and close or fairly far away the 37" screen shows it all and my only complaint is that some on air people certainly are not being treated kindly now that I see them in true HD lol. My only issue with the set is that I didn't get it sooner! The shipping and delivery was fast and it arrived in great condition. No dead or warm pixels and no complaints at all. The remote is very simply and aside from it using a c-6 style battery seems fine. I use the cable supplied remote for most everything, so not really an issue for me at all. I compared this same set with both 32" and 40 and 42" sets in a dept store here prior to buying and for the size, even the 42" isn't that much larger, certainly not enough to spend the extra, at least not for me. And the 32" just was too small by comparison. I hope this review may help someone else as I am very pleased and truly feel it was a great investment.

The Oppo was new to me but it delivers real quality. The up conversion quality when playing standard dvd's is amazing. That in itself is worth the cost of this deck to me. Watching Blu-ray's on this deck is going to spoil you. It loads VERY fast and has exceeded my expectations. It is built rock solid and the remote control is back lit. Overall, it is a VERY good bang for my buck.

I have this hooked up to my Samsung 32" HDTV. In works in concert w/ the Samsung built in tuner. Using this equipment I was able to pick up additional cable channels, even some broadcating in various resolutions from 720p to 1080i. I used a RadioShack amplifier similar to this one that cost $52 and change, but it did not work as good as this one. The good news too is that you can get the PCT amplifier for less than half the cost.

This is one of the best deals I have seen on this type of TV. I priced similiar units from Toshiba, Sony and Samsung, which were much more expensive with less features. I am a big Apple fan and the fact that I can view my songs and video from my iPhone made me really happy. The only drawback is the angle of view, which is not very good. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for an affordable 27" unit.
